1What is in the pass
- Timed exams, as many as you want. Each one is 120 questions in 240 minutes, with the national portion drawn across Pearson VUE's eight national content areas in the salesperson item counts and the state portion in the item counts of Pearson VUE's Oklahoma outline, so a full timed exam is 80 national and 40 state questions, with questions you have not seen yet served first. You get your score against the 70% pass line and a score for each portion, since each portion is passed separately.
- Practice by topic. Pick any of the 8 national content areas or an Oklahoma area, or the questions you missed last time. The right answer and the reason appear as soon as you answer.
- Oklahoma questions with their law cited. 121 questions on Oklahoma rules: who needs a license, provisional sales associates and postlicense education, continuing education, inactive status, the causes for suspension or revocation, advertising and disclosure of licensed status, teams, the Broker Relationships Act duties and brokerage agreements, confidential information, the deed theft notice, security deposits and the landlord and tenant act, the disclosure and disclaimer statements and psychologically impacted property, and more. Each explanation names the Oklahoma Real Estate License Code section, Commission rule (OAC 605:10) or Oklahoma statute it comes from, with the date it was read.
- National questions to the outline. 400 questions on the principles every state tests, weighted to Pearson VUE's national content outline, down to each sub-topic. They include the 80 on the free practice exam.
- Your weak topics, tracked. Every answer is recorded in your browser, so the app can show your accuracy by topic and send you back to the areas below the pass line.

Pearson VUE's Oklahoma outlines give the national portion as 80 scored items across eight areas (salesperson counts 11, 9, 11, 16, 10, 9, 7, 7) and the state portion as 40 scored items across four areas (20, 8, 6 and 6). A full timed exam here draws the scored items in those counts and times each portion in the handbook's lengths; you can also time each portion on its own. The Commission's rules come from its Code and Rules book of November 2025, checked against the current published rules, so rules amended since then are not asked in their old wording.

2How the Oklahoma sales associate exam works
- Two portions. The sales associate exam has a national portion of eighty (80) scored items in 150 minutes and a state portion of forty (40) scored items in 90 minutes, plus pretest items that are not scored (80 items plus 5 pretest and 40 items plus 10 pretest).
- Passing score. The handbook lists the passing score for each salesperson portion as 70% scaled. Pearson VUE reports a scaled score, so the pass line used here is a guide to that figure, not a promise of your scaled result. Candidates get unlimited attempts to pass each portion of the exam during a one-year authorization, and Each exam portion may be taken separately or consecutively.
- Fee. Each salesperson portion costs $75; both scheduled on the same order will cost $75 in total.

3A sample Oklahoma question
This is one of the Oklahoma questions in the pass, shown with its explanation and the law it comes from.
Under the Oklahoma Real Estate License Code, when is the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission required to investigate the business transactions of a real estate licensee?
- Only after the licensee has been convicted of a crime
- Upon a written complaint filed by any person
- Only when a party to the transaction files the complaint
- Only when the licensee's broker requests an investigation
Answer and explanation
Answer B: Upon a written complaint filed by any person
The Commission may investigate on its own motion, and it must investigate when anyone files a written complaint. The complaint does not have to come from a party to the transaction, so that option adds a limit the law does not contain. A criminal conviction or a broker's request is not a precondition for an investigation.
