PSI's Missouri bulletin gives the national portion as a share of the exam for each content area and the state portion as item counts for salespersons: 2, 7, 2, 17, 6 and 6 of the 40 state items. A full timed exam here draws 100 national questions in those shares and exactly 40 state questions in those counts; you can also time each portion on its own. Section 339.100 (the grounds for discipline) was amended effective August 28, 2026, and the new text could not be fetched, so it is not quoted; the other disciplinary sections and the Commission's rules on complaints and violations are.

3A sample Missouri question

This is one of the Missouri questions in the pass, shown with its explanation and the law it comes from.

A dual agent makes a disclosure to one client that is required by statute. What effect does this disclosure have on the dual agency relationship?

  1. It automatically terminates the dual agency
  2. It converts the dual agent into a transaction broker
  3. It does not terminate the dual agency relationship
  4. It requires both clients to sign a new dual agency agreement
Answer and explanation

Answer C: It does not terminate the dual agency relationship

Missouri provides that a dual agent does not terminate the dual agency relationship by making any required or permitted disclosure. The relationship continues after the disclosure. The statute does not change the licensee's status to transaction broker. It also does not require a new agreement after such a disclosure.
